this a poem that i wrote for the Rejected Angels Group on imeem.com

Wings are broken, hearts are torn
Where is the one that we adorn
born with wings, striken with grief
we go and look for a place, a place of happiness a place of peace
where all these people can finally be free
broken claws, broken laws
have all these things gone a flaw?
never thought it was a law
to be rejected for nor a flaw
why oh why shall i must cry
that i am not the one to fly
my wings were broken as a token,
for what a saddness non of my gladness
night and day it all comes to play
that one day we shall sing
wings are broken, hearts are torn
